User Acquisition Manager


Avalanche Studios and subsidiary Expansive Worlds are looking for a User Acquisition Manager to design and execute effective customer acquisition campaigns for our self published titles - including theHunter Classic, theHunter: Call of the Wild, as well as future games.

The Position

As our User Acquisition Manager you will be responsible for the management of user acquisition funnels for all active, and future, games and ensure a fantastic ROI.


In your role you will work closely with the publishing team, as well as the development team, in order to identify features that improve effective customer acquisition but also be part of developing new, innovative and creative solutions for user acquisition. You will help identify and test new acquisition marketing channels, develop A/B testing programs to maximize acquisition efforts and use creativity and experimentation to drive traffic and improve conversion rates. At the end of the day you will help us decide what acquisition efforts that works well and that we should do more of, but also tell us what doesn’t work at all.

Required Qualifications

  • Growth Hacker with experience from managing, growing and optimizing user acquisition campaigns and partnerships
  • Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction based on analysis
  • Experience in buying and negotiating ad buys
  • Previous experience in innovative marketing experimentation through A/B testing and creative iteration.
  • Creative mindset with out of the box thinking and a willingness to find new, intriguing acquisition channels
  • Excellent presentation skills - showcase user acquisition test results/learnings to executives and management
  • Driven, automotive and proactive - with an inner driving force to task and form the working day
  • Result oriented, consistent track record of exceeding targets
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team player
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Passionate about games

  • Experience working with influencer marketing
  • Additional language(s) on a native level
  • Interested in hunting and the outdoors


For this role you need to be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) in our Stockholm office.
