Avalanche Studios is looking for a Gameplay Programmer to join a top-tier, experienced team to help implement mechanics and gameplay scenarios on an exciting, new, AAA project. This project is still in its infancy but is one of the most exciting and ambitious that Avalanche Studios has taken on.
As a game programmer on this project you will work with our designers to conceive of and implement elements of scripted and emergent world content, combat and activities. You will help develop in-game content like AI behaviours, weapons and character mechanics using a combination of C++ code and script. You will be directly adding exciting content for the player to enjoy, combining elements such as logic, animations, visual and audio effects, user interface and dialog. In order to fully realise a feature or a section of gameplay, you will work closely with many disciplines.
