We are looking for an experienced Game Designer to join our new self-published project. On a high level, you and fellow game designers will lead the creative development for a new Expansive Worlds’ IP and work closely with the Game Design Lead, Producer and Product Owner to realize the road map you helped develop.
On a day-to-day basis, you will help define the game’s core gameplay systems, design new features, and take an active role in product reviews to ensure an appropriate quality level. Talent in Mission and Tutorial Design is a plus.
As you will work on a wide range of different design aspects, we see the perfect candidate having a couple of years practical experience from different areas of game development. This is a rare opportunity for the candidate who wants to play an instrumental creative role in a medium-sized and experienced team actively creating a new title from the ground up. - Experienced the release of at least 1 PC/Console games and/or DLC of products you worked actively on in a design capacity
- Strong knowledge of game design fundamentals with an understanding of how to design gameplay that fully embraces systemic elements
- Talent in systems design, specifically player progression systems
- Ability to communicate ideas and requirements to stakeholders
- Self-motivated in setting and reaching goals while able to produce results as part of a team
- Experience of running a game as service including game updates, DLC, etc
- Experience working on open world games
- Talent in Mission and Tutorial design
