Stockholm is a vibrant and modern city that is built on 14 islands. It offers quality restaurants, great nightlife, not to mention breathtaking views. We love living and working here. You're about to see why.
Every full-time employee is offered 25 paid vacation days per year. We close the studio for business every summer for two weeks to offer all Avalanchers the possibility to unwind without worrying about missing out. Including Sweden's paid bank holidays, we offer up to 37 vacation days per year, plus weekends.
Our flextime schedule makes it possible for our employees to manage their starting times and working hours. Since we consider consistent overtime a sign of poor management we do everything in our power to keep everyone’s working weeks to 40 hours. After major deliveries we offer compensation leave or paid overtime.
Avalanche Studios believes in a healthy work-life balance, and offers a generous individual training allowance. On top of that we arrange free group training activities every week, such as yoga, kick-box, badminton, running, basketball and soccer. We also offer massage, stress and healthcare workshops, plus regular meditation classes, all during working hours.
High standard health care is accessible to everyone living in Sweden. Thanks to tax subsidies, medical and dental care costs are limited. For children up to 18 years of age, it is completely free of charge. Everyone at Avalanche Studios also gets a free vision screening and glasses if needed.
Whether you are thinking of your future, or are caring for a family, we’ve got you covered. A generous state regulated pension program is available for everyone working in Sweden. In addition, Avalanche Studios offers a generous pension program where a percentage on top of your monthly salary is saved for your pension. Lastly, if you have or plan to have a family, you have the right to up to 480 days of paid parental leave, state-funded child allowances and free education. We even make pension payments during part of your parental leave.
We believe that the career development of our staff is a key part of our success and we measure that by ensuring we have capable leads and a talent management structure. We promote individual growth and allow our staff to move across the ocean to try something different. This gives our employees the opportunity to gain new professional and personal experiences regardless of where they sit within the Avalanche family.

Our state-of-the-art studio is located in the beautiful area of Södermalm, in the center of Stockholm, close to bars, restaurants and shops. This provides great opportunities for our staff to get together in regular social events such as concerts, soccer clubs or just Friday beers.
