We’re looking for a User Researcher to drive player insights and shape the future of our games. In this role, you will be the bridge between our audience and our development teams, ensuring that our creative and technical decisions are informed by a deep, data-backed understanding of the people who play our games.
Joining our Data & Insight team and reporting to the Business Intelligence & Market Insights Manager, you will own the entire research lifecycle - from identifying key questions to delivering insights that resonate across the studio.
The Position
This role is an opportunity to lead our player research strategy by combining high-level product thinking with hands-on execution. You will work to ensure that player voices are naturally integrated into our development process, helping us foster a culture where player-centric insights guide our path forward.
What you'll do
- Lead the user research roadmap and strategy for our live games and upcoming titles.
- Design mixed-method studies, including surveys, playtests, and qualitative research to decode player motivations.
- Spearhead long-term initiatives such as player segmentation and feedback programs to track sentiment over time.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with UX, Design, Marketing, and Production to translate findings into actionable goals.
- Manage external partnerships and research vendors to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Synthesize complex data into clear narratives, using reports and workshops to guide stakeholders at all levels.
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in user research within the games industry.
- Skilled in mixed methods, with the ability to balance quantitative data with the qualitative "why."
- Proven track record of managing research projects end-to-end, from initial design to final delivery.
- Strong communicator who can turn data into insights that inspire and guide creative teams.
- Analytical mindset, with a genuine interest in player behavior and industry trends.
Scope: Temporary contract from June/July 2026 until April 2027, with a possibility for extension or a permanent role for the right candidate.
