Welcome to Malmö

Malmö is the third-largest city in Sweden and has a booming culture and food scene, as well as one of the world's most diverse international mix of inhabitants. From the artsy neighborhood of Möllan with its rich culinary scene, vintage boutiques, and street performers to the exclusive neighborhood of Västra hamnen, Europe's first carbon-neutral neighborhood. Getting around in Malmö is a breeze as it's one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world.

You’ll find the Malmö studio just a couple of minutes’ walk from the central station in the city center. During spring 2021 we moved into a brand new from scratch renovated studio in a funky house build in the Fifties. With plenty of meeting spaces, on-brand bright colors, great light, and our own patio organic food garden.

The studio is surrounded by restaurants, shops, theaters, organic food stores, and vegetable markets. If that wasn't enough, the Danish capital of Copenhagen is just 20 minutes away, making Malmö an extended part of a large cosmopolitan city and a gateway to continental Europe.

To make moving to Malmö as easy as possible, we assist you every step of the way with everything from finding a place to live to visa applications, legal formalities, health insurance, the social security board, and anything else you might need. Our housing agency will listen to your needs and requirements to help you find a first-rate home, whether you are looking for an apartment in central Malmö or a house in the countryside.

High standard health care is accessible to everyone living in Sweden. Thanks to tax subsidies, medical and dental care costs are limited. For children up to 18 years of age, it is completely free of charge. Everyone at Avalanche Studios Group also gets a free vision screening and glasses if needed.

Whether you are thinking of your future, or are caring for a family, we've got you covered. A generous state-regulated pension program is available for everyone working in Sweden. In addition, Avalanche Studios Group offers a generous pension program where a percentage on top of your monthly salary is saved for your pension. Lastly, if you have or plan to have a family, you have the right to up to 480 days of paid parental leave, state-funded child allowances, and free education. We even make pension payments during part of your parental leave.
