STOCKHOLM – December 10, 2020 – Expansive Worlds, a creative division within Avalanche Studios Group, is proud to announce that Te Awaroa National Park, the all-new DLC for theHunter: Call of the Wild, is now live on PC via Steam. The game had over 1 million active players for the month of November, and continues to be the most immersive hunting experience ever created.
Nestled at the foot of the Southern Alps, Te Awaroa National Park is inspired by the vast, breathtaking landscapes of the South Island of New Zealand – a coastal paradise and home to some of the best hunting locations in the country.
Starting today, players can hunt eight species of animals, add a powerful new F.L. Sporter .303 bolt action rifle to their inventory, and explore everything the region has to offer through 16 new story missions.
- New and Diverse Wildlife – There are eight species of animals that roam Te Awaroa’s diverse environments; Sika Deer, Feral Pigs, Feral Goats, and Chamois (all new to the game), and Red Deer, Turkey, European Rabbits, and Fallow Deer.
- Trace the Trails of History – Te Awaroa is full of history, which is reflected in 16 new story missions that include dealing with local menaces, patching things up between old friends, and discovering the truth behind a long-forgotten legend.
- Hunters Paradise – Stretching across a vast 25 square miles (64 square kilometers), Te Awaroa National Park is full of charming areas to explore.
- Share the Experience – You’re able to hunt in Te Awaroa National Park even if you don’t own the DLC by joining someone in multiplayer who does. This will give you access to everything except the narrative missions.
